Grave maintenance around Melton Mowbray

I provide respectful grave and memorial plot maintenance around Melton Mowbray for families who cannot visit as often as they would like.

Visits can include cutting back grass around the immediate plot, removing weeds and fallen leaves, light planting care and general tidying around the memorial.

Headstones need particular care. Stone type, age and condition affect what is safe to do, so I will only carry out cleaning that is appropriate for the memorial and will discuss any concern with you first.

This service can be useful if you live away from the area or find regular cemetery visits difficult. One-off visits and repeat arrangements can both be discussed, subject to cemetery access and rules.

Arranging a visit from a distance

If you are not local, send the cemetery name, grave details and a description of the upkeep you would like. Clear directions or a plot reference help me identify the correct memorial.

I can confirm whether I am able to help before anything is booked. Any work must also follow the rules of the cemetery or churchyard concerned.

Serving Melton Mowbray and nearby villages

Common questions

Can I arrange grave maintenance if I live outside Leicestershire?

Yes. Send the cemetery and grave details along with the type of upkeep you want, and I can confirm whether I can help.

Can visits be arranged more than once?

Yes. A one-off visit or repeat arrangement can be discussed, subject to access and cemetery rules.

Do you clean headstones?

Only where the material and condition make suitable cleaning possible. I will not use a method that I believe could damage the memorial.

Why choose TR Gardening Services?

Garden knowledge

I am City & Guilds qualified and Lantra certified, with more than 20 years of gardening experience. I can advise on plant care, pruning, seasonal jobs and common problems such as pests or disease.

Your time back

Regular mowing, weeding, pruning and tidying can take up a large part of the week. I can take care of the jobs you do not have time for, while keeping you informed about anything else that may need attention.

My own equipment

I bring the equipment needed for the agreed work, from hedge cutting and mowing to scarifying and pruning. It is kept serviced and ready so the job can be carried out properly.

Regular or one-off

Some gardens need a regular visit; others just need a good tidy-up at the right time of year. I offer both and agree the work with you before I start.
